Zhou Xunshu: A pro golfer on the China Tour

Zhou Xunshu bounced back from Saturday’s rocky start to finish even par for the day and even par for the tournament to remain in 7th place heading into the final round of the China Tour’s Dell Championship at Orient Golf Club in Xiamen (story). Zhou began Sunday four strokes off the lead, but more importantly only two strokes out of the top 3 — a top 3 finish would give Zhou automatic “pro player” certification with the China Golf Association, which could potentially help him get a better job and attract sponsors. Currently, Zhou has “pro coach” status and no sponsors.

Zhou Xunshu fired a 2-under-par 68 on Friday to enter the weekend at even par and tied for seventh place in the Omega China Tour’s Dell Championship in Xiamen (story).
