Zhou Xunshu falls to No. 9 on China Tour money list

After flirting with his third straight top-10 finish to open the 2008 Omega China Tour season, Zhou Xunshu ended up 22nd in the Kunming Championship, which concluded Sunday at Lakeview Golf Club in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Zhou wasted solid rounds of 73 and 72 on Thursday and Saturday by sandwiching between them a 79 and a 77 to finish plus-13 overall. Zhou earned a before-tax prize of RMB10,800 (US$1,542) for his efforts, and fell five spots to No. 9 on the Omega China Tour Order of Merit.

Immediately after play on Sunday, Zhou raced off to Hengyang, in southeast China’s Hunan Province, to see his wife, Liu Yan, and their new son, born April 5.

Next up is the Shanghai Championship, May 15-18 at Orient (Shanghai) Golf and Country Club.

周训书在中巡赛奖金榜上落到第九名

欧米茄中巡赛2008赛季，周训书没能连续三站进入前十名，他在昆明站的比赛获得第22名，昆明站的比赛是在云南省昆明市滇池湖畔高尔夫球会举办的，周日结束。星期四和星期六的比赛中周训书打出了73杆和72杆的稳定成绩，却在星期五和星期日的比赛中打出了79杆和77杆的成绩，最终成绩是高于标准杆13杆。周训书得到了人民币10,800的税前奖金(约合美金1,542),在欧米茄奖金榜上后退了五位，落到第九位。

在周日的比赛结束之后，周训书立刻赶往衡阳市，位于中国东南部的湖南省，去看望他的妻子刘艳，和他们于4月5日刚刚降生的儿子。

下一站是于5月15日到18日在东方（上海）乡村高尔夫球会举办的上海站比赛。
