The &#8220;marathon&#8221; style tournament, open only to the country&#8217;s top 36 golfer, involved three 18-hole rounds of golf for each golfer in one day. Tournament sponsor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paofugroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Baofu Group<\/a> (\u00e5\u00ae\u009d\u00e5\u00af\u0152), based in Shenzhen, claims theirs is the first tournament of its kind in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Zhou shot rounds of 76, 78 and 78 to put him 16-over par and 24 shots behind winner Zhang Lian Wei. Here&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/golf.sina.com.cn\/2007-08-06\/01483084475.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">final leaderboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Zhou arrived in Shanghai late Monday night and early the following morning traveled to Kunshan&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grandshanghaigolfresort.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Grand Shanghai International Golf &amp; Holiday Resort<\/a> (\u00e5\u00a4\u00a7\u00e4\u00b8\u0160\u00e6\u00b5\u00b7\u00e5\u203a\u00bd\u00e9\u2122\u2026\u00e9\u00ab\u02dc\u00e5\u00b0\u201d\u00e5\u00a4\u00ab\u00e7\u0090\u0192\u00e5\u00ba\u00a6\u00e5\u0081\u2021\u00e6\u009d\u2018), which is a 15-minute train ride and a 20-minute taxi ride from Shanghai. Weather in Kunshan is currently very similar to Shanghai&#8217;: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/world-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;locCode=ASI|CN|CH001|KUNSHAN&amp;metric=1\" target=\"_blank\">hot, hot, hot<\/a>.
